When we engineered the Lighthouse Beacon 1000, we had adventure in mind. We start with a German engineered LED that shoots a 9500-lux beam of light through a convex magnifying lens, casting a brilliant circle of light into the elements in front of you. Add to that the ability to zoom in or go wide, directing the beam of light to the exact place you need it.

Next, we wanted you to forget you were even wearing a headlamp, so we put the battery box in the back for balance and a strap over the top so it stays in place and doesn’t slip and require constant readjusting.

We didn’t want to build a complicated headlamp that required an owner’s manual and a college degree to use. The Lighthouse Beacon has a single, easy to find, button that cycles through high, medium, and low settings. Zoom in and out with a simple push or pull of the head of the lamp. It doesn’t get any simpler to use.

Made from sturdy aero aluminum alloy and ABS, the Lighthouse Beacon is build for durability. With a waterproof rating of IP44, you can count on it in rain or shine. Uses 3 regular AA batteries that you can buy anywhere so that your headlamp never dies when there is no charger in site. Take along some extra batteries and you’re always good to go.
